Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2025

This Cookie Policy explains how GreenPT BV (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and web apps. It complements our Privacy Policy and should be read together with it.

Summary of how we use cookies

No site-wide third-party tracking.
We do not run third-party tracking pixels across our site.

Self-hosted analytics (cookieless).
We use Plausible Analytics, fully self-hosted on our EU servers. It runs in a cookieless and privacy-friendly mode. No data is sent to Plausible Cloud, Google, or other analytics providers.

Ad tracking only on specific pages and only for ad visitors.
We place marketing/measurement cookies only on special landing pages and thank-you pages, and only for visitors arriving via Google or Meta ads. These cookies measure whether an ad resulted in a visit/conversion on those pages. No tracking cookies are placed on the rest of our website.

Consent first.
Non-essential cookies (e.g., marketing/measurement) are set only after your consent via our cookie banner (Cookiebot). You can change or withdraw consent at any time.

Managing your consent

You can manage or withdraw your consent any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in our footer or the banner:

  • If you decline Marketing, no marketing/measurement cookies will be set (including on landing/thank-you pages).
  • If you accept Marketing, measurement cookies may be placed only on the designated landing/thank-you pages for ad visitors.
  • Strictly necessary cookies will function regardless of consent to ensure the site works properly.

Your current consent state and the exact cookies in use are displayed below via Cookiebot and update automatically.

1) Who we are (Controller)

All data is processed within the European Union. Our infrastructure is hosted in France and powered by 100% renewable energy. We do not transfer data outside the EEA without a valid transfer mechanism and explicit authorization.

2) What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. “Similar technologies” include local storage, pixels, tags, and SDKs. Some cookies are strictly necessary for a website to function; others support preferences, statistics (analytics), or marketing/measurement.

3) Cookie categories we use

Strictly necessary (no consent required):
Enable core functions like load balancing, security, and session management.

Preferences (consent):
Remember choices (e.g., language). We keep these minimal.

Statistics (consent status: not required for our setup):
Our self-hosted Plausible runs without cookies and without personal data; we therefore do not request consent for Plausible. If we ever introduce additional analytics requiring cookies, they will appear below and require consent.

Marketing/Measurement (consent required):
Only on our special landing and thank-you pages for visitors coming from Google or Meta ads, to measure ad performance. These are not used elsewhere on our site.

4) Advertising partners and roles

When you arrive via a Google or Meta advertisement and provide Marketing consent, we may place measurement cookies on the relevant landing and thank-you pages. In this context:

  • Google and Meta act as independent controllers, not our processors.
  • They may combine limited event information (page reached after an ad click) with other data they hold under their own policies.
  • We do not share additional personal data or broader browsing activity, and no tracking occurs on the rest of our website.

5) Browser controls and “Do Not Track”

You can block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break core functionality. We honor consent choices set via our banner; “Do Not Track” signals are not consistently standardized, so we rely on the explicit consent controls provided by Cookiebot.

6) Retention

Strictly necessary cookies: only for the session or as long as technically required.

Preferences: only until the chosen setting expires (usually short-term).

Marketing cookies: limited to the retention period defined by Google/Meta, never longer than necessary for ad performance measurement.

7) Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect technical or legal changes. Material changes will be announced on our website or by email at least 30 days before taking effect.
